Indian notation में last three digits साथ होते हैं, फिर pairs: 1,00,000 one lakh और 1,00,00,000 one crore।
2,10,501 crore में written number two lakh ten thousand five hundred one है और “crore” stated unit है जो पूरे number पर apply होती है।
Reserve Bank of India की currency table, उदाहरण के लिए, values को ₹ crore और volumes को pieces in lakh में label करती है।
Formal work में source की precision और rounding note retain करें; extra decimals जोड़कर false accuracy न बनाएं।
Reliable four-line method
- Original number और stated unit copy करें।
- Multiplier लिखें: lakh = 100,000; crore = 10,000,000.
- Absolute number calculate
अगला useful step: notes में two anchors और one worked example वाला छोटा conversion box बनाएं; फिर हर large number guess के बजाय check होगा।
