Discover India, one good question at a time

Use a short break or a longer holiday to explore one part of India with more context. Read in English or switch to Chinese for cultural guides and Hindi practice. Language choice does not identify your nationality or passport.

Planning from Singapore

For a short trip, choose a base before adding distant stops. Compare the time from arrival airport to hotel and onward attractions, not just flight time. Check conditions for the specific Indian region and dates: familiarity with Singapore’s climate is not a reliable packing guide for every destination.

Track costs in Singapore dollars and Indian rupees. Separate airport transfers, city journeys and longer vehicle hire, and confirm whether a quote covers the whole car. Check what payment options the individual operator accepts before departure; avoid building an arrival plan around one unverified payment method.

Choose your reading language independently of your travel documents. Save addresses and practise Hindi requests suited to the places you will visit. Review Singapore MFA advice, and verify entry requirements with Indian official sources for your passport and purpose.
